Kenyan native Charlie is a self-taught artist who creates colorful, acrylic-on-canvas paintings with fearlessness and passion. “My cultural influences come from a childhood steeped in African culture, rituals, beliefs, and customs,” Charlie says.

“I have an outsized discernment of my heritage, and these influences have gifted me with a deeper love of self, enriched me, and allowed for a greater appreciation of art and culture.”
